My Poor Blog

Well it has been almost a year since I have updated my poor neglected blog. There has been some changes in this last year. Jim finished school in December and is in the process of looking for an NP positions, I have definately gotten into a routine with the kids and the house and thigs have been going good. It has been nice having Jim home and I have been able to get a me day at least once a week and it has been awesome.

The boys are getting big and they had their first haircuts on Tuesday, I will post pictures later tonight.

Run Down

I have been feeling a little run down lately. I think Jim's school, clinical and work schedules are finally getting to me. I have to keep telling myself that it will be over soon and I will get to spend time with my husband again.

Alex has also started to have some major attention issues when ever I am trying to put Griffin down, he cries uncontrollably tears and snot a full on tantrum but as soon as I put Griffin in his crib it stops and he is fine. I so need a vacation!

Alright I am done whining, I just needed to get that out

New Flip

We had a great weekend, we went to our friends son 3rd birthday party and just relaxed the rest of the weekend, I guess I should say I relaxed because Jim had to work today :(


I recently ordered a Flip camcorder, we decided to try it out at the party. The first video is of Alex at the party eating M&M,s and the second video is of me holding Griffin while he is laughing.

Griffin's 4 month check up

Griffin had his 4 month checkup on Monday and everything went pretty well. He had a umbilical granuloma which is like an over growth of cells on his bellybutton, so the doctor had to use silver nitrate to remove it. Everything else is great he weighs 15lbs 8oz and is in the 50th percentile for height and weight, not as tall as his big brother was at his age but pretty close.


He is now rolling from his back to his belly and is getting close to rolling from his belly to his back but I usually flip him over after just a few minutes because he freaks out when he is on his belly too long.

Sunday

The weather was amazing on Sunday it was 79 degrees and slightly overcast. It was a great day to play outside so that is what we did.

Also you may be wondering why Alex has his hand in his pocket in some of the pictures, his grandpa gave him a chip from the Bellagio in Vegas and he has been asking for it every morning to put it in his pocket. I may have a professional gambler on my hands.

Griffin is 4 months old

Griffin turned 4 months on Monday and I do have to say that the first 2 month were a little scary because he was so colicky. Since then he has turned into the happiest most easygoing baby, that is of course as long as he has had his naps. He goes in for his 4 month check up on Monday and I am very curious to see how much he weighs because at the moment he is able to wear a lot of his 6-9 months clothes.

Valentines Day

Jim and I don't really celebrate Valentines day but last week Jim's cousin and her husband offered to sit with the babies while we went out. So of course we took them up on the offer and went out for sushi and after we went and had gelato, it was a great time.
